hi ladies. welp. me and scott have been doing pretty good lately. we're trying to inspire eachother to get in shape. we got a gym membership at the fresno ymca and have swam laps for 45 minutes two nights in a row. we're going back and gonna try to consistently go every mon-tues-wed and fri/sat when im in town. we've also made it a point to walk the dog every night. i hope we can keep that up. last night we drove out to target and bought a scale so we can map our progress. scotts at 251 and im at 183. we've set a weekly goal of dropping one pound. it's progress, but still an easy enough goal to be realistic and not get discouraged. i've been trying to do sit ups at least every other day and scott gave me some hand weights i should probably get some use out of.
as far as the diet goes..i typically have a bowl of cereal with soy milk for breakfast, a luna bar or a shake for lunch, and something light for dinner, be it salad, a slice of pizza, a half a sandwich and baby carrots, or another bowl of cereal. oh ya, we stocked up on 4 cases of diet soda too.. vanilla coke, root beer, and cherry coke. yum yum. here's today's rundown:
breakfast- bowl smart start with soy milk
lunch- snapple-a-day with 1/2 banana, strawberries, ice, an 1/2 cup light yogurt
dinner- probably gonna be half a sandwich and some salad.
i just bought a new speedo today so i have a proper suit to lap swim in. its ugly, but itll do and it was cheap. the ones i liked were 60 friggin bucks.
